Fake spill

In the studio Mark has a lot of little gag toys and practical joke items. This is a fake spill and cigarette burn on some kind of controller. I thought it was more visually interesting than funny.

hear say see

I saw these three little guys hanging around a speaker in the studio and thought they deserved an attempt to put in my sketch book

Walking along the pond I saw a crane resting, and thought it was a cool scene to try to capture. This is my attempt. I like how the scanner gave my water reflections a nice blur. Assistance by accident... gotta love it.

I drew this sketch at Cracker Barrel one morning waiting for breakfast. I thought the way the table visually dissected the chair was pretty cool, and a challenging attempt. My food came before I finished.

My first additions to the the sketchbook.

The top left sketch is of one the guys behind the sushi bar at Kai'yo. I wasn't really sure about sushi at first, but visiting this restaurant has changed mind. That sounds like a good idea for lunch.

The bottom left is my music teacher Mr. Rubel. He loves music with a passion, and has an extensive body of work and knowledge that he rations out every time our class meets. In the upper left is his very old record player (not called a record player but I don't remember its name) that plays without any electronics. It actually produces a pretty good sound and volume.

I'm not too thrilled with having to sketch everyday, but for some reason once I start its hard to stop.

I'm finally over it.

The Lakers won the championship and the Celtics lost. I don't like it but I can accept it.

I need to work on scale for my sketches.

Some how Paul Young's sketch became the top of the trophy. Hey it was games seven. A very good game at that.
